Dementia 失智症

Dementia is a general term for loss of memory and other mental abilities severe enough to interfere with daily life. It is not normal ageing. As the mental ability of a person with dementia deteriorates, memory and cognitive functions decline, personality may change. The 2 most common dementia are:

1. Alzheimer Disease (60-80%)
2. Vascular Dementia (10%)
